Royalty

While entering Amber Fort in Jaipur or boating across the Lake Palace in the middle of the Lake Pichola in Udaipur, visitors are charmed by the grandeur of Rajasthan’s royalty. Palaces and forts are inherent gifts of royals and attractions for the visitors. One can opt for a royal stay in selected palaces which presently serve as hotels. Rajasthan’s luxury wagons – ‘Palace on Wheels’ and ‘Royal Rajasthan on Wheels’ – take tourists to the popular tourist spots across the state in five-star comfort.

Culture

As visitors walk around the stalls at traditional fairs, they can capture the real spirit of culture in Rajasthan. Some of the experiences include the jingle of camel bells, excitement amongst cattle traders, liveliness of folk dancers and Rajasthani men’s pride in showing off their moustaches. Dances, music, processions, traditional art, ornaments and high-spirited people form the soul of Rajasthan’s art and culture.

Wildlife

Rides through Ranthambore are popular amongst tourists as wildlife exploration. Whereas, the Blackbucks greet tourists in the open fields of the Tal Chapper Sanctuary. As visitors go around Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur chasing and taking snapshots of the migratory birds, they come closer to nature.

Shopping

The bustling lanes of local bazaars give visitors an entire array of products to shop from. Rajasthan’s local textile cloth, miniature paintings, finely-crafted jewellery and ethnic artefacts are some of the few things that tourists take home.

Adventure

From trekking in the heights of Mount Abu, to sightseeing from the sky in the hot air balloon, Elephant ride at Amber and Jeep Safari at many places, Rajasthan also offers adventure opportunities. The Camel Safari through the dunes of desert are renowed amongst visitors.
