The officials of ITDC, along with students and tourists, took a pledge to keep Qutab Minar permise clean
In line with PM’s Clean India Initiative, Ashok Institute of Hospitality & Tourism Management (AIH&TM), a hospitality training institute under the Human Resources and Development (HRD) division of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), had organised a cleanliness awareness campaign at Qutab Minar for domestic as well as foreign tourists. As a part of the awareness campaign, the students from AIH&TM enacted a Street play on the campaign’s theme вЂClean India.’
The officials of ITDC, along with students and tourists, took a pledge to keep Qutab Minar permise clean. Stress was given to educate the tourists and citizens to ensure cleanliness.
Speaking on the occasion, Anup Chatterji, general manager, HRD, ITDC and Principal AIH&TM stated, “Qutab Minar is our adopted CSR monument under the aegis of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. We are proactively involved and committed to provide a clean environment at Qutub Minar.” He further stated, “The entire ITDC team will take the cleanliness awareness further by way of enactment of street plays, poster campaigns, and painting competitions for children at other prominent places of tourists’ interest in Delhi.”
