Sireeampan Boutique Resort & Spa, an intimate 11-suite luxury resort in the heart of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, has announced a selection of luxurious bespoke culinary experiences, including cocktail classes, cooking classes and a traditional Thai picnic experience, Lanna Signature Pinto (Northern Thai Basket) Picnic. A unique way to experiment and taste a variety of Thai spices and flavours, guests can find their inner culinarian at Sireeampan Boutique Resort & Spa’s exquisite and intimate setting inspired by ancient Thai manors.

“We are thrilled to add these new culinary programmes to our already extensive list of culturally enriching activities at the property. Not only will this add a new experiential amenity, but the bespoke and customisable offerings speak to our continuous commitment to personalised luxury for each guest,” said Tatsanee Chaima, resort manager, Sireeampan Boutique Resort & Spa.

Cocktail classes: Taking place in the property’s Sip Piano Lounge and Wine Cellar, students will work with the on-site mixologist to learn traditional Thai cocktails of their choice including Lychee Martinis, Tom Yam Martinis, Mango Mojitos, Blood Diamond Cocktails, Ampan Martinis, Green Curry Cocktails and Sour & Spicy Cocktails. Additionally, the mixologist will teach customisable cocktails based on personal preference, with local ingredients like basil, ginger, coconut, mango, kaffir lime and lemongrass.

Thai cooking class: Led by Sireeampan Cooking Academy and Thai native, Chef Narongrit Kroddum, the private Thai cooking class allows guests to choose three of their favourite Thai dishes to create, including Som Tam, Porpeah Tod, Tom Yam Goog, Tom Kha Goong, Tom Kha Gai, Gaent Keaw Wan Gai, Phad Kraprao, Yam Mamuang and Pad Thai. Prior to becoming a part of the lively kitchen, students will take an exclusive trip to the local market and the Royal Project Foundation’s organic shop and learn how to pick out ideal ingredients with Chef Flaxman. After the two-hour cooking and dining experience, graduates from the academy will receive a certificate and a recipe.

Lanna Signature Pinto Picnic: This unique concept is designed for the guest who wishes to experience authentic Northern Thai cuisine with a modern presentation and luxurious fashion. Available to be enjoyed anywhere in the hotel at any time, guests can have the traditional Thai picnic while listening to the water flow of the fish pond at our Sala, in the garden, by the swimming pool or on the terrace of their private studio/suite. The basket includes marinated Thai-Style Pork Spareribs with Thai Lanna dipping sauces, Lanna sausages with white and black sticky rice, Pad Thai spring Rolls, coconut prawns with special sauce, Thai desserts or seasonal fruits, along with signature cocktails or fresh Thai iced tea.
