Atlantis, The Palm Dubai has introduced Atlantis Dive, a programme that will train you to dive into the largest open air aquarium in the Middle East and Africa- The Ambassador Lagoon. The aquarium is home to 65,000 marine animals of all shapes and sizes. There are different programmes to suit each one’s requirements such as scuba diving, snorkeling, PADI courses to name a few.
The new diving programmes are suitable for non divers as well as certified divers. Amongst the 65,000 marine animals the open air aquarium includes Bowmouth and Hammerhead Sharks, Napoleon Wrasse, and huge Marble Rays. The best starting point is the new Dive Discovery programme which is an opportunity for people who are not certified in diving, but want to get up close to the marine inhabitants. The programme includes expert instruction and a fully supervised scuba dive, a great jumping off point for those who want to continue their PADI certification later on. Atlantis Dive Explorer Progamme is a single 30 minute dive, allowing certified divers to enjoy the tranquillity of the beautiful lagoon with the many special creatures living there.

This once in a lifetime experience includes the opportunity to hand feed the various ray species that call the Ambassador Lagoon home. The experience includes two dives, a take home mask, video of their experience and special complimentary mezze dinner for up to three additional guests.
